What do you do when you have leftover pesto and a whole bunch of chives growing in your herb garden? Well, have breakfast of course ha ha ha. Prepared omelette with mexican chili, chives and filled with grated cheddar and a big dollop of pesto. Eat with rice and you have a perfect meal to start the day. Yes, pinoys love to eat rice for breakfast nya ha ha ha. Tip, if you want that extra nutty flavor, drizzle with sesame oil. As they say, FxxK that diet once in a while.
Last weekend, we drove to liloan to get live herbs and bought a planter of tarragon and chives, now am racking my head for recipes with these herbs. The sweet basil seem to be thriving, but already have oregano, kafir lime and rosemary. My veranda smells like heaven ha ha ha.
