After a gruelling badminton match the pandas were famished and craving for some meat. Well, more like craving for some chicken wings, specifically some Southside chicken wings.
Abraham, okay he prefers to be called Preston (but i like Abraham, it is sooo biblical he he he), recommended his new concoction, chicken wings with a creamy pesto sauce. A platter of half rack pesto porkchops and the crispy fried adobo chicken wings, washed down with freshly brewed black iced tea and we are good to go!
They didn’t disappoint, the last time they served the porkchop it didn’t have the pesto sauce but it was more of something the kitchen forgot to add to the chops given that Abe wasn’t there to personally supervise the kitchen. This time, the pesto made a difference though i would have preferred it to have more garlic. Same observation with the creamy pesto wings, a tad more garlic would have sealed the deal. For those that doesn’t want to have deadly garlic breath the concoction is just spot on (but hey, that is why pandas always carry breath mints lol).
But the star of the day was the adobo chicken wings. Salty, spicy, acidic, garlicky, oh so super crispy. Should i continue? Hmmmm.
And value for money, southside still has the best deal in the metro!
