If you are planning to put up a restaurant you better make sure that you have parking. For the longest time i would just drive by Big Tom’s simply because they had no parking given that their original outlet was right beside a busy street. Eventually found out they rented a nearby empty lot, but that would mean having to cross the road, and in the Philippines, crossing the road is considered an olympic sport with all the speedy reckless drivers around.
Just found out that they openned another branch in Oakridge, Mandaue that had ample parking space and since the pandas were looking for something new, we decided to give Big Tom’s a try.
I ordered the bacon cheese burger, and the vanilla milkshake. First thing, loved the milkshake, it was thick, extra thick in fact, and not so sweet. The burger also did not disappoint it was meaty (meaning it had very little extenders like a lot of the burger places around), seasoned just right and was smoky. The meal came with a side of fries but it was nothing spectacular.
Their menu is pretty extensive and am definitely looking forward to coming back to sample the other specialties (initially thought of ordering the chorizo burger but decided to sample the beef burger). True to its reputation, the portion, size and price are just enough to make you come back and try the other variants.
the opinions expressed by the pandas is neither an endorsement or an official review of a place, establishment or service. the Pandas are just very opinionated.
